I woke early expecting to go run, but young molly was still fast asleep so I decided not to disturb her and gave myself another hour. I drove back to the east in full sunshine which seemed rather unusual.
The traffic on the 4 lane highway confuses my car and the lane change computer, 'grabbed the wheel' a few times.
Joburg drivers go incredibly slow in the third lane and I am not just saying that because my car has power now. The highway has some bumpy tar which I always tried to avoid in my Smart, on the inside lane, but I only noticed a mild bump having to undertake the trucks and leisurely 60km/hr third lane drivers. It's an unusual skill driving on that road.
Rusty was initially cautious when I drove in the garage but he soon recognized me and I was greeted warmly. It stayed warm all day so I had to wait till the air cooled for his evening socialising. Unfortunately it was quiet atvthe park, so he didn't get much romping around but enough doggie perfume for him to inspect. We managed to snuggle on the couch while the cats came in to eat their supper.
It's the eve of Christmas!
