This morning started way before sunrise, with Rusty scratching at my door and then I heard thunder. I sulked a bit because a few short hours before, the moon had been illuminating my bedroom. So at 5am I jumped out of bed and we ran towards the lightening sky through the dog park. Unfortunately where we turned into the streets, the rain started getting heavier so I cut the run short. Rusty was still in a playful mood having only run half our usual distance but I was packing up my car and he started looking sad. He did his usual when I was reversing out of the driveway and jumped on the kitchen island to eat the cat food. Every time I try to take picture he sees me and jumps down, the skelm.
I was driving westward for the day/night and caught up with the goings on after a surprisingly good breakfast at a coffee Cafe. Molly (the dog) was very excited to see me but unfortunately my photo of her won't upload so I added a pic of a zen moment of sunset and my Smartie that I can't take the credit for taking.
The weather was miserable most of the morning so I didn't take many pics today.
