Windy

Coastal living brings coastal weather and today was wind. Of course I have experienced wind before, but living in Johannesburg has ruined me weather wise. Washing would dry in two hours of sunshine and I never really worried about my car on the road. Today my washing was still damp after 7 hours of hanging on the line and felt my car shake on the highway.

But I did see the amazing skills of kite surfing and watching the manoeuvring on the rough sea. I saw birds face the strong gusts in their relentless way in order to get to their destination. I realised that many people and things rely on the winds.

The winds of change.
