My day started early when I woke at 4am and realised that I had to walk down the narrow train passage to the loo. I tried not to make too much noise and wake the other guests up. But by 6am there was lots of activity so I went for a run.

The mist was lying thick over Mossel Bay so after my breakfast I took a drive down to the point area that I had seen from the boat. I took a walk up to a cave under the lighthouse which was continuously blowing the fog horn and flashing it's light. I was very impressed with all the rock pools and the beauty down below. The dassies are always cute for me and I watched them for a while.

I'd booked a Ghost walking tour in Mossel Bay for myself and my friend who was putting me up for the night. The tour was brilliant and it was wonderful walking through the quiet, clean streets of the town. I was very relieved not to be driving back through the winding Kaaimans pass in the heavy mist and dark.

I need to look through my photos properly and give some more details, but for now it's lala land.
