The British Queen died.
On Monday I said to my sister that she would die this week. It was just a flash of thought, new Prime Minister agreed on, Prince Harry in the country, she was in her Scottish estate that she loved... I blurted out that she'd die later this week. May she RIP.

Some strange things have happened on this trip of mine. Today's train trip was extremely weird when the railway track was flooded near Perth so a 5 hour detour was added on my 4 hour trip. We went past the Aberdeen Airport where the royal family were being flown in, which I was not supposed to be anywhere near on this journey. Then I got soaked trying to flag a taxi when I eventually arrived at my destination. 5 minutes later the rain had stopped while I got out of the taxi at my bnb.
I then dashed across a very full river Ness to go see a one man play about Rabbie Burns. It was played by Alan Cumming who I loved in the American series 'The Good Wife'. I know very little about Scots poetry Rabbie Burns other than his poems were in Scots and complicated and he loved women. It was a solo play but Alan had us all spellbound. It was mesmerising.
I walked back to my bnb across the river noticing how dark it was, unlike when I arrived earlier in the year. Fortunately it stayed dry and the darkness just added to the drama of what I watched and the energy of my day.
'Should auld acquaintance be forgot...'
