Weekend vibes

Saturday 30th April 2022 I broke my running drought,  haha.  It was a lovely morning by the time I peeled myself out of bed so I got into my running groove. Unfortunately Molly-dog has hurt her foot so there was no running for her.

I had intended to continue the paperwork story but sister arrived back from her appointments and said we should visit running wifey at her market.  It was a bit of a drive, but being a passenger, I enjoyed spotting the last of the Cosmos flowers and gaping at all the new building that have popped up.

A big rain cloud appeared as we parked, but fortunately only a few splatters reached the market stalls. Marlene was surprised to see us but it was great to see how comfortable she is with her small business and she's an excellent sales person.

We ate some yummy Butter chicken while drinking free Zero Heineken beer and then returned to visit Marlene.  It was a lovely venue and interesting watching all the people cruise past. We left early so I could do some work and sister could get her run in.

For the last hour I've been booking UK train tickets and checking in with friends to book a place on their couch. I'm suddenly very excited about visiting for their Summer and I'm looking forward to experiencing the country with my new adventurous spirit.
