Venturing out

Wednesday 20th July 2022

I managed to get out on the streets! Ok, it was only a 7 minute walk to the Morrisons supermarket, but I did it.

Unfortunately mid-shop I had to dash to the loo and it seemed like all my good healing had been lost. There was also no charcoal tablets in the supermarket so I couldn't get my usual regime of self helping. Back at the hotel, I panicked at the thought of being on the golf course tomorrow far away from any bathroom.

I've never been ill on a freelance job before so I don't know what the protocol is so I asked Angie to try find out for me. As it stands now, I'm going to see how the evening and early morning goes before I decide to venture out to work tomorrow.

As an aside, while the rest of the UK melts, our temperature was a rather pleasant 25 degrees and I did have to walk to the shop on the shady side of the street.  The weekend looks like it might revert back to Scottish summer with rain and cooler temperatures.
