Two weeks in

I was just beginning to feel less holiday like, when suddenly weekend showed up bringing all sorts of celebrants.

This is what I wanted to experience. A holiday destination without the holiday crowd and seeing if the local people appreciate their sea and attractions. I'm pleased to see that they seem to do just that. Most of the cars at the beach were local and there were many many more cars today than during the week.

I had a slow start to my morning and brunched at what seems to becoming my 'local'. I didn't run today, my energy was low and feet were sore.

What I am about to write, seems strange but hey, you should be used to that by now.

I don't like sand

I'm afraid of the sea.

But yet, here I am, loving all of it. I decided it was time to wet my feet and sand them down. My toes curl at the tickly bits of debris in the sand and I was scared of being caught in a sudden flash wave. So I dashed over, clicked the pic and limped back to return my feet into safety.

The Indian Ocean is officially greeted.
