Train writing

Tuesday 24th May 2022 I've been in the UK for a week.  Most of which I have been in a dwaal. Tooth infections are not funny.  Finding decent painkillers has been even less humorous.  But being up and about for most of today has been exciting.  If only my tooth would allow me to smile properly.

I love trains. I especially love trains on time, spacious and on time.  Britain is extremely efficient in their public transport,  and I have managed to get my way through Oyster cards, underground,  train app and digital tickets,  paper tickets x3 ( which one opens the turnstile?) And all of this while carrying my bags and a very thick neck.

I'm on route to my friend who I have known since I was 10, when we were both young and crazy. Now only one of us is crazy,  the other has her Masters in Nursing.  I'm looking forward to seeing her without having to rush away,  although I might pass out because of this dratted infection.
