The 7th day

Another 'rest' day, well kind of. It was cool on waking so I thought I would head out early to try pretend that I was a runner. But resident pup, Molly, decided to get all cute and lie a bit longer. I didn't complain. In a way, it feels like the quiet before the storm, except the storm is my doing and I have a lot of 'work' (fun) to do.

The rest of the day was rather domestic with chores, but mid afternoon I decided that I needed to drive my beautiful prize car while I still remember how.

The local market had closed early due to rain, so sister and I toured around looking for waffles. We found berry Pavlova and a chocolate dish at a new Cafe and it was just the thing to round off my prize winning weekend.

What excitement will this week ahead bring?
