Thank Full

Thursday 28th April 2022 Waking up on my late sister's birthday, made me grateful. For the gift of waking up.  My sister and so many others didn't get the gift of today.  I was grateful to get in a hot shower and to be able to get in my small car and drive across the city with the best route planned by a handy machine.  I was grateful that all the traffic lights were that cheerful green and that the taxis continued to keep driving. I was grateful for the surprisingly smooth section along a main road that used to be full of holes. I was grateful to meet a friend in an unknown part of the city near the Wanderers club. The cappuccino was good and the croissants- fresh. I was grateful that I was a 4 minute drive away from my next friend. After my giving her feet some gentle reflexology, we took a 1 minute drive to a coffee shop were I sipped peppermint tea and watched a world of corporate people dressed up like models. I was grateful that I never needed to wear such high heels in order to stretch my legs. I was grateful for the sun shining through the scraggy clouds to give me the daily 'leave light'.

The drive back westward was also in my favour and I was very grateful that my Smartie was a little sluggish behind a huge car, masking another quick car jumping the red light.  Had my turbo kicked in, I might not be writing this.  Even though my nose is freezing, but body is cosy under the blankets,  the dog is dreaming and snoring,  the DC powered light is shining enough for me to see my way. The main power has been non existent for the last three hours, but I'm grateful to still be able to do my things that need doing. Happy new day everyone.
