Sunny Scottish Lochs

Sunday 19th June 2022

I woke up early take a picture of lovely sky and promptly fell back to sleep.  It was a fresh morning and I was wanting to explore. After a bit of googling and seeing that the free museum was closed on Sundays I comforted myself by seeing that there are remnants of the original fort from the 1690s when the town was named after William of Orange (all I think of is Outspan, but don't think it's from that)

The weather changed regularly and at one stage I had my hood up again.  I was busy doing a video for Katryn when I heard the steam Jacobite steam train which is otherwise known as 'Hogwart's Express' from the Harry Potter film. You can watch my cemetery video here.

I was on the other side of the tracks when I realised that I could film the train leaving.  You can watch it here too.

After 3 hours of up and down and 6km of walking I went back to my apartment to lunch and rest. Then the sun came out and stayed out (it's almost 10pm and still around, I took a photo) I suddenly decided to go try and get a cruise on the loch. I walked back but all cruises were finished for the day and the tide was out. I sat in the sun and marveled at everything and then walked back to watch many episodes of 'Silent Witness' on the telly.
