Sunday 5th February 2023

My graveyard work was amended due to my lift having an injury and I found out early enough to go for a run.

I took Molly for a longer run which meant my trip was stop/start to let her sniff. I was grateful for the rest periods in between spurts of speed and the traffic was nice and quiet.  I even saw the bunnies dash across the road but Molly missed them.

Due to the plan change,  sister suggested we go to the market where Marlene was working.  It took place in Sandton and I was amazed at all the new developments on route since my last visit. The market was very quiet and unfortunately when we tried to have lunch, the service was disappointing.  The restaurant started to get busy by the time we were ready to march off after a hunt for our bill. There was plenty of staff but it seemed like we had invisibility on our second table, we were seen while trying to first sit at a table which had been reserved. After a frustrating hour with bleh food we made our way back to the car. The venue was pleasant but we won't rush back.

The rest of the afternoon we've been binge watching series and generally just having a Sunday afternoon laze. Sometimes those days are the best.
