Thursday 21st April 2022 The loadshedding saga continues but I  had more DC than yesterday which I'm glad about, even if I'm writing this by battery light now, lol. House alarm sounding off at 2am because the area fault gets finally fixed, made all inhabitants "skrik' wide awake. It seemed that it was still 'set' from the earlier outage which lasted 12 hours. After the heartbeats returned to normal we all settled down again,  cat included, until the roster schedule kicked off the power again at 4am. This meant my Drakensberg-running sister had to pack her bags in the dark and as she drove out of the now-manual gate, the electricity came back on at exactly 6am. I just had to laugh.

The rest of the day was pleasant with me giving a foot massage,  having lunch and a dog walk. The cat is missing her mum tonight, although she is silently tormenting Molly who needed me to escort her past the cat for a bathroom break.

Fortunately my phone is charged so I can write this electricity story down, in case I ever take a constant supply of 220V for granted again.
