Saturday 19th March 2022 Today was a glorious Autumn tinged highveld day with a  pretty sunrise and sunset. The bit in between went rather fast even for me who doesn't pay heed to Saturdays.

I managed a short run with the air being pleasant at 8am and smiled as I remembered that this time of my Comrades running years, would be early morning runs of double distance running. Autumn is endurance building time and in a way it felt strange, but not unpleasant to not be worrying about distance and such things but rather wondering where shall my Smartie take me next. My running friends are all busy doing high mileage but we did manage a quick get together and 'gate crashed' my sister's school group get together which was rather fun. I was in time to see the full sun set from the local take away shop while I waited for my fish supper and of course, took the necessary photos.
