Stay inside day

Thursday 19th October 2023

I woke up and it was 7am. I could hear cars in the street so I figured it must be work time for some but I had no idea it was so dark at 7am! In Edinburgh, I'd slept with the curtains open so I saw the morning light break the dark, but I didn't think it would be so different on the West side of Scotland. However, there was thick cloud and rain due to the storm that the news has been warning us about so I was glad to not have made any outdoor plans.

Instead, I ended up having an Australian client online and I got to work rather early, (for a change.) My 'snuggle inside day' consisted of a few phone calls and I managed to finish off my Tapping refresher course. I did it online for accreditation purposes and I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I now can research registration and insurances so that I can start getting an 'official' form of income. Although I've been doing therapy since 2001, I was never registered with any official body in South Africa. I'd trained via the American founder and his dvd's and in 2005 attended his 'serious illnesses' conference in Manchester. But it has also been on the fringe side of therapy so never had it formalised. In the UK, my therapy is sometimes given by the NHS, as complementary therapy, which is fantastic to know.

I'm hoping to get myself sorted out in the next few months until my lottery wins come though. Yes, I'm a lucky person and I can feel it coming, haha. It sometimes feels like I've won the lottery with all the blessings I've had/got in my life. But today I'm feeling particularly grateful for my health. Life is so short and I try not to take any day for granted, rather make the most of it. Plus, there's always great music and the internet!
