Spring equinox

It was as if the season had heard the date. The first official day of Spring.

The wind was non-existent this morning and the world seemed shiny and new on my walk. With low tide leaving the beaches looking wider and deeper, the water looked like a giant dam. Hard to believe that something so big can change so rapidly and completely.

Spring kicks in, but I still found it cool in the shade. I spent a lot of time just looking at the sand and water and of course taking photos of the landscape, sand and sky.

Tonight the almost full moon hovered over the sea and I was outside to see it. Having dinner with a friend meant that I saw the beachfront in the early evening dark. The street seemed busier than this morning but a long weekend years and more cars filled the parking bays. A night full of moon, stars and zzz's.
