The resident cat, Victor was meowing at my door several times in the night and just after sunrise he appeared again. I managed to ignore him until after 7 when I finally gave him a sample of his breakfast, only to discover that he'd already eaten. We sat together and chilled while I planned my day. I decided to return to the small cafe around the corner for my boiled eggs and soldiers. The parking was full but fortunately my small car can squeeze in beside badly parked cars.
I had bought some massage vouchers last month and planned to spread them out over my weeks here and had booked my last one for today. Fortunately they were running late and had postponed my appointment by an hour which gave me time to eat mandatory cake. The coffee shop has free wifi and it doesn't get loadshed due to the area being classified as industrial, which is very handy to know.
My massage uncovered huge knots in my bag and I think my lymph drainage in my legs needs an overhaul. I eventually pleaded with the masseuse to stop because it was just too painful. I think that I may be doing a detox when I get back to Johannesburg. I managed to get back home in time to make some herbal tea before our afternoon power cut and I spent the two hours realising that I am no longer any good at crosswords. The cat visited for a while and I followed him outside to check on the sea. He ignored the hadeda who was snacking on the lawn. An easy day before a busy weekend.
