Saturday style

Saturday 11 February 2023

The rain came down,  and down.

And down.

It was chilly too so I stayed in bed with Molly for a  long time. The longest lie in I've had in a while.  My sister had left to go run 20km at 5.30am and I didn't have one spot of envy for her. I was a little concerned but she's planning on running her 100 mile race in Scotland in May so she needs to train in 'Scottish' weather.

I got up before the loadshedding to switch the geyser on and make a warm cuppa. When sister got back she rushed into the shower, fortunately she'd taken dry clothes for driving back in.

I planned some of my tour concept and did more research. I had a chuckle at the two of us lying on our respective couches, she was googling exercise form and I was researching the Anglo Boer War teachers. We both thought each other's topic was boring.

We then turned to three light hearted movies for easy watching,  it's nice to have that bubblegum type of film to relax the brain.  An easy Saturday for me.
