Saturday sessions

Updated: Oct 23, 2022

Saturday 22nd October 2022

It was still dark when I woke up around 7am.  I was surprised so I opened the curtains to watch the light change and saw that it was a lovely dry morning. The sun started painting the clouds and I sat in the light laughing about still having my earplugs in and I could still hear the drone of the KFC downstairs power unit. I know that in a few short weeks I might be wishing for the drone of power in South Africa due to the power cuts.

After my shower I decided to go into the town I dragged my small suitcase through yesterday, but I was getting a bus ride! I forgot to ask for a return ticket-argh! The trip was quick and I was surprised to find more shops than I'd seen on Google. The small mall had a Frasers department store which I had to go into on my sister's behalf.  I managed to get most of the small things I'd been needing so I found a lovely Cafe to have a brunch in. I'm still impressed with the friendliness of shop staff but the regular people aren't as chatty as their Scottish neighbours.

I tried to look for the museum but I think Google hasn't been updated as the dead-end building had no sign of a museum.  There are two theaters in town and a huge cinema complex building that seemed rather quiet.  After petting a friendly puppy dog on a corner I made my way back to the hotel to ready myself for a tapping client.

Yes, a regular from a few years ago contacted me yesterday and I was looking forward to doing some therapy.  After the session I popped over to the retail park across from my hotel. There's a flagship M&S store which is huge and I was impressed with all the jackets and soft winter jumpers. I love winter clothes,  I just don't like the season.

I spent the night doing some technical cleaning and now I'm ready to call it a day. I'm very glad that my data works well in this hotel,  lol!
