Saturday 1st October 2022

A new month starts. Number 10 of the year. One of my wildest years ever. So to celebrate, I had a mooch day. Well it was more of a mooch afternoon.  This morning I sorted out my luggage and bags and packed some things in my brother's spare room for next year. I'm growing little boxes of belongings around the globe,  here, Hartlepool and in South Africa.

It's strange how neutral I have become about 'things' although I'm still partial to technical stuff. Today a folding keyboard for my tablet arrived.  I ordered it yesterday.

Yesterday!

It still boggles my mind that the delivery and postage systems are so efficient here. I remained cautious to use the postage though,  almost as if I didn't quite believe it to be true.

I ordered a bigger keyboard than my original one because although it's very cute, it's still a little clumsy to type on. The keys are in strange places and I didn't really use it. My new folding one is almost a regular size. Now I have one less excuse to stop me writing my books. I do my blog typing on my phone hence all the typos, lol!

The rain came down heavily intermittently all day and I know Johannesburg and the highveld is particularly thirsty right now,  sorry.  I love the taste of Scottish water, especially straight from the tap in the middle of the night, it's yummy. Hopefully though I haven't drunk too much tonight so that it keeps me waking up three times like last night, haha.
