Rugby memories

Friday 27th October 2023

Today was a real British weather day with a chilly rain blanketing the sky. So it was a great day to catch up with big sister and warm coffee. I thought I'd be able to get out for some kind of walk but it didn't let up. The dogs farted us out while looking at us very innocently when we moaned at them.

It's World Cup Rugby weekend finals and South Africans have gone into full-force fierce fan fever ( I had to do that, lol). It's been interesting listening to the UK commentators instead of the South Africans. I'm fortunate to have a TV in 'my room' so I can watch it snuggled under a blanket. I've been impressed with Argentina's team tonight, even if the game isn't finished. But then I'm certainly no expert.

My young TV soundie days had me dodging the wonky ball on the sidelines of the Rugby stadiums while running up and down the sidelines with the microphone. I never thought I'd be willingly watching the game all these years later by choice, haha.

Life is funny (and fun).
