A home based day for most of today. Although we did go to some sports shops looking for a rain poncho for Pauline. I ended up buying some new running shoes. I haven't bought a new pair since 2019 and I realised that it was time.

I'm not a great shopper and shoes are one of my worst buys. Knowing what brand I need helps but the sizing....Argh. I run in men's shoes and a couple of sizes larger than my regular shoes. But I can never remember the actual size. Fortunately I had a very patient gentleman help me today and he even managed to get my size at the sale price of the first pair I tried on. I did a test run when I got back but the heavy black cloud hung over me so I turned back early.

The rest of today I was working. Yes, I know it's a strange concept but I love the different projects that I have so it doesn't really feel like work.  I'm editing a podcast episode that I did with two delightful ladies who I had interviewed a couple of weeks back.  It's still quite a long way from finished so I will definitely share it when I'm done.
