A limbo day spent waiting for outside handymen to arrive. You may have experienced the type. They say they'll be there in the morning and arrive at 3pm. Sigh.

I'm useless when waiting for this kind of thing. It's like I can't do anything until they've been and gone. I was particularly antsy because it isn't my house and after yesterday's fever day, I still felt rather tired. But at least I got out of my pj's and into the shower, albeit 7 hours before they arrived.

I played some jigsaw puzzles on my computer and cleared my email. I opened a few work projects but my brain was too distracted by watching the front gate. Around 2pm after a few messages to the contractor, I decided to lie on the couch. Of course I had company, and even though the weather was at lot warmer outside, inside the house is still wintery. Of course, Molly joined me under the cover.

And just to prove my showered self, that's my jeans sticking out.

Thanks for the well wishes that some of you sent. I am feeling a lot better.
