Thursday 19th January 2023

I've been having really realistic dreams this past while so I woke up with a start wondering where I was again.  At least I have valid reasons for questioning my whereabouts and not just absent mindedness- lol.

Molly started getting excited when I got out of bed and I couldn't deny her a run. So we set off a little after 6.30am and I was amazed to see the build up of traffic down the one street. After a km of lots of sniffing and marking, I dropped her back at the house and left to do my 5km. As usual around 3km my idea buttons kicked in and I was thinking up all sorts of interesting things.

Unfortunately by the time I had showered, real fatigue set in.  I did some odds and ends around the house and Nic was working on my sister's broken pool motor.  By lunchtime the humidity had pushed my own hot flushes into overdrive and I felt like one of the overworked power supplies of Eskom.

I ended up having a snooze which didn't really help much.  Fortunately though, my upset tummy had settled. So I thought I might have been a little dehydrated.

I sat for a while looking at my tablet and notes but I ended up having a major hot flush so I closed my system down and went out to the shady part of the garden and did some weeding.  I think I needed to connect with the soil.

I'm in bed already and probably approximately 5 minutes away from sleep. Hopefully tomorrow I wake up to my healthy self again.
