Through a couple of serendipitous events, I found new (and cheaper) digs for the next two months. I managed to squeeze all my belongings back into the smartie and do one trip and I got myself settled quite quickly. The rain held off and I am 1.6km further away from the sea. My 'old' place was a one room with a fridge, microwave and the basics, however was looking forward to having a kitchen sink( which is a surprise for me too!)
I'd forgotten how nice my new place is. It has a private area as well as a snall separate lounge area and kitchen. I'm at the bottom of the premises and they have built into the hill so my windows are halfway. (The reasons for me calling it 'digs')
Unfortunately it has been standing empty for some time and now I am arguing with a troop of ants, which are coming in from somewhere and marching across the floor. They are larger than the inland ants and tomorrow I am going to find some talc powder to draw some boundaries, haha.
