Today was the closest I've been to being myself again. It felt great. The sun was shining and I was going to go get some acupuncture on my jaw to ease the pain and movement. I hadn't made any appointment but decided to head to the city and take a chance. But I turned right...
Ended up doing an extra 2 mile walk on unwalked legs. Doh! But I listened to my body and stayed in the shade and kept pulling myself back in my stride.
I got to the Acupuncturist with perfect timing because he could fit me in right then. Such a lovely man and I think I found someone who says 'thank you ' in every sentence. I couldn't believe my eyes when after the treatment, a few doors down, there was a dentist surgery. Unfortunately it's mid-term and they were full and had no spaceforemergencies, as were the next 4 different practices but I managed to get a call from one and tomorrow hopefully I can be one tooth-less.
The City of Canterbury is beautiful and historic and organized and quaint. I wasn't quite up to full tourist speed but I did manage to take photos of some of the buildings.
We finished the day with a long walk with Anna and Molly and I am amazed at all the wonderful public spaces in amongst the hustle and bustle of the city.
