Tuesday 19th July 2022

After a good night's sleep I ventured down to breakfast to meet my friend who was on her way to the next golf course, Gleneagles.  By the time I'd gotten to her, I must have paled dramatically because her face was one of immediate concern.  I had a very light breakfast and felt very grateful that I'd only been booked to work from Thursday.  I passed out till noon.

My afternoon consisted of home renovation programs and some very old 'Law and Order's to spice it up a bit. The feverish feeling seems to be lessening and although I have a very loud bark of a cough I'm feeling a lot better. Angie came back from work with a covid test which I'm delighted to say is negative so my bug is a different variety.

I will venture out tomorrow for a walk and test the chest and hopefully see a little more than the four ( very comfortable) walls of hotel room.
