My A friend

Thursday 2nd June 2022 I woke early excited to be well enough to join Anna on her trip to the sea. I packed my backpack quickly and waited for the house to wake up. It was another spectacular morning and I am feeling so grateful to have much less pain. Watching Anna and her friend swim in the low tide of the English Channel with the sun breaking the sky, almost made it appealing. However the icy wind reminded me that this is actually the Northern Hemisphere.  I walked along the pebbly beach glad to see how happy my friend is in her life. It made saying goodbye easier knowing that she's so content. The train trip was a lot busier than my previous trips when I was semi conscious, it was Jubilee day in the city so when I crossed stations at St Pancras I was amazed at the bustle. I met up with my old TV colleague and long time friend Angie and it was so nice to be able to catch up in person.  We're spending the night at a friend's house which has such amazing history and wooden Littles and gables going back to the 1500s. I wonder what my dreams are going to be like tonight?
