Mull of the west.

Sunday 16th April 2023

The mist rolled in over the hills in the night so dawn never really happened properly. I had to wear my jacket to do the feeding of the menagerie, it was rather chilly. The bunnies were very tame this morning and one even let me touch it. The bulldog kept sleeping so I didn't wake her too early. Old gals can sleep late.

One of the cats became a hot water bottle under the blanket while I watched a Scottish series on the telly, but I did have to move all 'extras' in the middle of a hot flush, lol. Eventually the bulldog woke up and made a dash down to the lawn, so I played a bit of ball to stretch the Labrador's (and mine) legs.

A part of me felt rather strange, like I should be busy writing, or doing constructive things but the 'fog' didn't lift until much later in the day. Not that much got done but I've learned not to judge myself too harshly and roll with life. I know when things need to get done, I find the right energy and it all comes together.  Plus, it was a misty Sunday so a perfect day for the furries to keep me company.
