More stuff than I need

There were rumblings throughout the night. At 4.30am I couldn't return my to my slumber and instead organised my car service, packed more boxes and arranged my Airbnb. Of course, I did this without leaving blanket bay, because it's July on the highveld and nobody wants to leave the snug safety of their bed.

By 6am my radio rattled on with the news of our ex president supposedly going to jail and England through to the EuroCup football finals. I wondered if it my lucid dreams convincing me that I was awake.

My social media feeds keep giving me huge shocks about deaths and disease and I am still reeling from my sister in laws death, so I decided to rather stick to practical things and not do my creative daily skit.

I started bubble wrapping so many things that have no real use other than give me a slight bit of joy and lots of annoyance when having to dust them. Really? Will I miss them if I get rid of them now?

This is the question I find myself asking a lot. But a lot of the ornaments are my late friend's so I continued wrapping in the deflated bubbles... because, well, I like popping, haha.

Over my first coffee of the say, I glanced briefly at my favourited Airbnbs and decided that I can't yet book because we are still in lockdown. I closed that website and went back to reorganizing my stuff.

22 days left to sort out the Stuff!
