Moon child

Full moon tonight and it seems to have lived up to it's usual pattern in that the weather seriously changed. The temperature plummeted overnight and my pillowcase had that wet cold feeling. It was a hard task getting out of bed this morning though, but I impressed myself when I did.

I tackled my 'props' room. This room used to be my spare bedroom until Lockdown started in 2020. Then the shortage of house guests brought a surplus of wigs and wig stands. I had a bevy of six plastic ladies continuously smiling at me while I dressed them up with the second or third wig purchased from the China mall around the corner. Boxes of made-up props of toilet roll holders, cotton wool, pieces of ribbon and drawn sergeant stripes got sifted through. I was surprisingly unemotional about the sentimental things that got me through many weeks of solidarity lockdown and my rubbish bin piled up.

I just couldn't run this morning and I haven't managed a run all week. I might just attempt one tomorrow.

The icy weather lasted all day, and looks like it's here for the weekend.

My last one in my lovely home.
