Mooch!

Today was a mooching day. In other words, very little was done. Yet in saying that,  I did a laundry and went for a walk with sister in law so I did venture out of my pj's at least.

The sun was sketchy this morning and I remembered the game of hanging laundry outside in Scotland. With heavy clouds around it was still dry enough to hang it, but just kept a beady eye out of the windows for rain. I looked away for a while and then it's a mad dash to save the half dried items from the sudden shower. I don't know how my mum managed with her large brood and toweling nappies.

On venturing out for a walk the sun came out snd I ended up having to wrap my jacket around my waist. The pathways cut through green fields and I am still amazed at the quality of the tar on these random paths, being significantly better than many of the roads in South Africa. 

It's almost 10pm and still light outside and the local teenagers are outside. It's school holidays now in Scotland but not yet in England, I think it helps keep the holiday resorts from being too busy. In the meantime the kids are playing outside while I'm ready for bed haha!
