After a reasonably good night's sleep, I removed my covers off my bedding for the Hostels laundry and said a quiet goodbye to my home for the last three nights. It was pleasant when I left the hostel so stopped to take photos of the ever changing scenes of Oban. I made my way to the station and checked out the bus stop before heading for a coffee at Wetherspoons.
As the bus arrived, the skies opened and the dutiful Brits stood silently in our queue while getting soaked. The bus was only half full and I was amazed watching the wheelchair lift operate for a passenger. The road back to Glasgow was a different route from my way out and it was great seeing different villages, and waterfalls while waiting at roadworks.
By the time I got into Glasgow, there was the mandatory cloud burst as my sister in law was collecting me. Then the sun came out and has stayed out since. We stopped by at a large supermarket and I'm still amazed at the variety of choice of things. Tonight I was to choose a birthday cake so I stuck with the old faithful- chocolate. It was rather yummy. I had a duet sung by the Egans of Happy Birthday and I'm going to sleep once again, with a full heart (and tummy of course!)
