Monday diversions

Monday 28th November 2022

I started off my Monday with no plans and within the first hour of waking my day was sorted.

It started off rather cool so when I met my first friend I was grateful for my light sweater.  We met in a center that I'd never been to before so I ended up using my Google maps.  It's amazing to come out on a main road on an intersection that I'd driven by hundreds of times without knowing where the roads go.

I stopped by afterwards at Angie who is up from Cape Town/England and chatted about next year's possible holidays in Europe.

I then went to look for my certificates for my Tour guide registration once more. I had a mental image of where I thought they were but when I'd searched last week I'd just seen the bump on my car so my brain had been rattled.  Today I was calm and took my time and found it on the second search!

Tonight I caught up on hearing running stories from sister and I made an unusual left over chicken dish for supper using pasta made out of peas. It was nice but not yummy lol.

It's fresh again now so writing this under a blanket.  Debbie was complaining about the lack of summer but she has just returned from a weekend of the Cape south easter wind. My Facebook memories are reminding me that this unusual weather isn't that unusual.  I was complaining about needing a blanket a year ago too, haha.
