Mini tour

Saturday 11 June 2022 Hey, it's two weeks till my birthday! I'd forgotten about that for a while lol. Taking one day at a time does slow down the forward thinking and planning but right now I'm in a bit of a limbo phase. My sister,  Debbie who is booked to do the 100mile trail race next weekend, is still waiting for her British passport to arrive. This means that I can't plan too far ahead until I know whether she's coming over from South Africa or not. So my other sister,  Bernadette (there's a lot of sisters so don't try to keep track) decided to play tour guide today and took us on a drive around the town of Hartlepool.

There's actually a lot of things to see and do, so we had a quick windy walk on Crimdon Beach,  where Angie was the only brave one dipping her toes into the North Sea. We were then driven around the Headland, past the old cemetery near Spion Kop ( yes, it has South African links) past beautiful churches and then we ended up picnicking in the car. The wind was very blustery today so we stayed mostly inside the vehicle and Bernadette did a great job giving us a short introductory tour. I intend to get more exploratory and do more detailed adventures, so stay tuned. Now that my tooth saga is almost over, and I feel 80% human lol.

I'm really tired now, I'm blaming the wind around my head.
