Massage Monday means my muscles get manipulated. It should be compulsory for every person on the planet to get massaged. I'm a better person because of my regular massages.
I stopped in at the old Waterfront mall which seems to be faring much better in this type of shopping centre after a few attempts didn't seem to sustain itself. I had a quick drink at a nice coffee shop and saw a bit of a ruckus. Turns out a lady's young toddler had taken himself out of the mall and had started careening into the parking lot. With her mask hiding her flushed face, she returned inside the mall with the errant toddler planted inside a shopping trolley.
After my excursion, I knuckled down to do some more research on my tour and then got some great news that an insurance policy had paid out a claim for the skin cancer on my leg. I was ecstatic and relieved. I hadn't realised how stressed I'd been about the £/R exchange rate and how I was going to get through the first month or two in the UK. Now at least I have a bit of cash to buy my return ticket to SA.
My massage therapist has been turning the tables on me when I start talking about my money fears. She said that not many people manage road trips, nor UK trips so to just shut up about the 'lack' and focus on the abundance. I need these reminders when I drop in the rabbit hole of fear and Lorna is a writer so is great with words. We laugh now though, because I usually am the therapist listening for 'red flag' words. Sometimes it's hard to hear yourself when you're in it. So I now get a massage and an ear bend lol!
