Loladay

Saturday 26th August 2023

It's been a long time since I did a marathon. And I mean a Netflix marathon this time. Today I found myself on my brother's couch, using the remote and finally settling on the 'Lincoln Lawyer' for a few hours. A part of me kept thinking that I should be out and about but my masseuse said yesterday to 'take it easy' so I'm blaming her. And it was great advice.

There's a lot of things that I should have been researching but I realised that I needed a time out day, or rather 'time in'. I'm feeling grateful again for being able to use my siblings' home as a base and being able to leave some belongings out of the way which gives me a semblance of roots. And now I even have a bike in the shed. It really needs a clean and I almost took it today because the sun was shining for a while. I'm also a little hesitant to go out on a ride too because there's a lot of big hills nearby so I'll pluck up the courage soon, haha.

In the meantime, I've still got a couple of episodes to go until my series is finished so tomorrow night I'll finish my TV binge. However there's some museums in Glasgow that are calling my name and tomorrow I intend to get out there.
