Limp opo

Friday 11 March 2022

I'm feeling grateful for being in this privileged position in life right now.

Why?

Well I'm sitting in the Limpopo province on Stanford farm surrounded by forest, dam, stars and friends. Another great thing was that I didn't do any driving to get here. I have friends with benefits, lol!

My only niggle is my phone data. But fortunately my sister bought me some data on my one sim card and I can upload this.

My mind is boggling that this time last week I was sitting in a container home in Parys, and tonight it's Harley Stanford's old farmhouse that seems to have been built during the great depression (1920s). I hope to explore more tomorrow.

I didn't realise how much I need to do my evening pages. It's like I round off the day and put the night to bed. Tomorrow all sorts of running, hiking and lunching is on the cards. I'm not sure if I can do all of it. My jeans say I have to, my head goes 'gulp'.

It's chilly here at night and I sitting snuggling in my thick fleece and wondering if I need to put the electric blanket on to warm up my bed. The others have gone to bed already and I'm sitting quietly writing while listening to the wind in the pine trees. I feel like Heidi, except she didn't have blue hair.
