Introvert-in

Today my introvert took charge. The sun was blaring at 5.30am and initially I was looking forward to running later. But as the morning aged, my passion waned. So I then had an idea to go run in Umhlanga and have a Sunday lunch in a restaurant that I had seen. After my shower, the weather had switched to dull and cool. My mind suddenly said, 'next Sunday you are going to the revolving restaurant, why do you want to spend money today?'

Yes.

Money.

Budget supported the bossy introvert and I considered my remaining last night's salad for lunch. Decision made, I felt quite pleased at the prospect of being still and not rushing around in adventure mode. I read the newspapers that were in the post box and I even remembered to check my car's oil. Sudoku reminded me that I can play with number patterns. The loadshedding schedule showed that I was to be plunged into darkness at 6pm so I sorted my supper early.

The two hours of darkness rendered my phone signal useless but I could still play games and my 4 songs on repeat on my bluetooth speaker, so the time went quite quickly.

I have a dear friend arriving from Johannesburg this week and I am really looking forward to the exciting things we have planned. No doubt I will be writing about them here.
