In my first phase of my World Tour of South Africa in Durban, I caught up my an old friend from the Vaal, who now lives in Ballito. It was super exciting to realise that she and her husband are holidaying in this part of the world this week, so we met up for lunch, then tea in Wilderness. It's great having humans to talk to instead of just via text and today was a lot of talking. We met for lunch at Salina's which has a stunning view of the Wilderness beach and ate yummy fish and chips.

She's been my coffee shop hunter and today her duty was confirmed by taking us after lunch, to the Green Shed- a stunning shabby chic/hippie coffee shop in the village. We sat under the 'smelly' tree- whose name I forget and chatted about the pros and cons of moving to the area ( them - not me). I totally understand why anyone would move here because the location is stunning. Today was another glorious day both weather wise and food wise.

Magie ( en hart) vol - oogies toe...
