Tuesday 15 March 2022 Beware the Ides. The day Roman's had to settle debts. I was quite constructive in getting my stuff together and piling it all into my Smartie. (Really need to scale down- again) I booked into a lovely cosy bnb in Northcliff and I realised how much I like my own space now.  It can be rather dangerous though, because I do love people but I need my own space to recharge.

One great thing about being in Johannesburg is that I have so many great friends that I already know so it's simply a matter of making definite plans to get together. Today I caught up with a great friend and I reflected on my trip. Suddenly I remembered Matjiesfontein and Sutherland and Barrydale and all those other delicious places that I had a tiny taste of and appreciation filled me up even more. Johannesburg has so many different aspects to it that I'm looking forward to figuring out what I want to explore in this next chapter.  Of course,  you will be coming along for the ride. All aboard!
