It rained throughout the night and on the tin roof it was rather loud. But it was one of those cases that I would wake up when the noise (and rain) stopped. I decided to go and run and was amazed at how loud the pigeons cooing sounds were. It reminded me of my childhood in old neighbourhood, Vereeniging. In fact the wide streets and high grass in the veld made me think that I was back there.
I decided to do a video tour of my tiny house for future reference so I donned my wig and kit and floated through my bnb filming.
I had said sometime last year that people should 'try out' tiny houses before they embark on the small home lifestyle and here I was exploring it.
I'm amazed by the 'how' of things happening. My friend and I chatted about this while sitting in her gorgeous restaurant 3 and half years later after moving from Johannesburg, and post lockdown... It always sounds so easy to do, to just let go of the how, but in reality, us humans tend to hold on to the control of things. My last few months have totally been a matter of get out of my own way and just point my 'boat downstream'. I still have moments of panic, rush and questions but then I see my blue car, my blue wig, and yesterday -my blue container home!
