Holiday weekend

Sunday 20th March 2022 I checked out of my airbnb this morning and I am almost getting the minimist travel thing sorted. Although I still have a suitcase, backpack, cooler box bag, tog bag, computer bag, laundry bag and hairdryer bag. Yup, see my dilemma? And yes all of that fits in my Smartie. The good news is that my backpack is currently empty as I'm transitioning to winters outfits and considering my UK trip clothes. I've got 2 months until I go to the soggy Isle and I don't want to rush too far ahead and miss current adventures of the Highveld in Autumn.  The weekend has given the rather damp city dwellers of Johannesburg fantastic weather which has made many a happy braaier. I was fortunate to spend the day with a sister and her daughter who celebrated her birthday recently.  They have a bulldog who seemed to be fascinated by watching the F1 motorace on the TV.  Of course she realised I was pointing my camera at her so dodged the real cute shots. 

This week I will start my proper research for my upcoming tour in April so hoping can get my hands on some archives somewhere.  I will keep you posted if I find some interesting stuff.
