I woke in the middle of the night to the dog pushing plastic bottles around the tiles outside my bnb. I felt sorry for the lovely creatures because the incessant rain must be making them very bored. It was bucketing down when I finished packing my bags so I sat and waited for a gap in the weather.
Driving around the streets was a little intimidating as there were huge puddles on unfamiliar roads so I proceeded very cautiously. I was early for my Monday massage so I stopped in at a cosy deli nearby and did some research on my phone. My foldy phone is still catching people's eyes and I am finding it to be a great ice breaker. It's also quite useful to take sneaky photos of customers' dogs because they usually spot a lens in their direction.
My Facebook memories reminded me that I started my skit journey 2 years ago today. 11/04/2022. So Katryn Kwarrentyn is 2 years old! I posted it on my YouTube channel here and when I watched it again I was surprised that she/I didn't have my accent like I do now. I was obviously trying to talk posh, whereas now I just talk like Katryn. It was also a very hot sunny day for my first 'tour' mid heavy lockdown.
I was delighted to see the sun come out at the end of my massage and it felt like the energy of the city had immediately lifted. Hopefully tomorrow we get some more Vit D
