Grateful musings

This morning I woke to sunshine which meant I could do some laundry. Although both domestic animals tried to convince me to stay in bed. (And you thought my life was all about the glamour? Haha)

It's pouring down now though and I am listening to the thunder roll around the night sky.

I'm feeling very grateful for the modern invention of the internet.

Today I chatted to a few global friends. The first was in Paris, although the South African version and I am hoping to visit there soon. The other was in Australia and I am loving the fact that the internet shortens the distance between continents. It is fascinating to see how other people live and I have always loved seeing the home life of my friends.

My internet connection has also helped me realise some dreams of being a DJ, an actress and a writer. I did my running podcast this morning and I thought briefly about getting back into doing my skit routine on my own 'channel'. Then I glanced over some of my rough ideas for my various books. I do need to sit down a little more diligently and get to it, but I am pretty grateful simply for the opportunity.

Plus thankful to you, dear reader, for taking the time to read my musings
