5 months since my Dad died. Seeing all the father's day displays in the supermarkets and small stores makes me stop and pause. Remembering that it's only been a few months. Yet these past 4 weeks feel so long, especially after the first 2 weeks spent in Hades.
The good news is that my medical insurance will be reimbursing me about three quarters of my dental expenses, yey! And that was after much tooing and froing with different dentists both side of the globe. The other good news of my day is that I managed a 22 minute jog and my jaw felt fine. It was interesting going out for a run around 9am, dog walkers and runners and they all had happy morning greetings.
The sun was shy today but it was dry enough to do some laundry and play pretend hairdresser in the garden. Angie's hair colour came out really well but I must admit to having moments of panic in case I'd missed a streak or it turned out green or something. Then I remembered that I have blue hair and it's not that bad.
My brother and nephew arrived from Scotland with my brother having cycled a 30 mile stretch in between trains. It's still fascinating that there are so many good paths for walking and cycling, not that I'm in any enticed to start cycling, unless it's a 3 wheeler, lol!
