Good full moon Friday

Friday 7th April 2023

Good Friday.

Waking up early enough to catch the last night's full moon disappear over the western horison had me think about things planetary and holy. The decision on making Easter coincide with a full moon always (and possibly still does) puzzled me before. I like reading my horoscopes, and although I don't swear by them,  it still confuses me about the criticism that a lot of the big religions of the world give to believing in the 'stars' yet plan their main festivals by the moon placement.

Being Good Friday meant that it's a public holiday here and my sister and I were invited out for lunch at a friend. It was a great lunch and afterwards we took a short walk along the rivers edge in Gallo Manor. It's fascinating to see the houses that have incorporated stretches of the river edge into their garden.  The rocks are massive and there's still a lot of litter and debris in the higher level showing where the summer rains flooded the water. Although it's very pretty,  I think I'd be too scared living there with the threat of big water.

I'm very tired this evening again and fell asleep while watching a Netflix series.  My brain is still very thick and foggy so my writing tonight feels clumsy and daunting.

I hope I'm not slurring, lol.
