Gadgeting

My constructive streak continued. My sister's car has been standing idle for a very long time. Today it got started, washed and moved which was a huge shift all round. Plus it got me some undercover parking to deflect some of the highveld summer hail.

The windscreen was very dirty and I know off road cars are meant to be dirty, but the sky looked even shinier after it's wash.

I visited the local China Mall to hunt down a particular cable for my new phone. Sadly, there's none to be had but I realised once again how much I love gadgets. I asked the shop attendant if she shares my enthusiasm but she nodded her head no, although she did understand how a lot of them work. I know that I would probably fiddle with all the packaging so working there might not be good for business.

I was proud of my restraint of buying everything I looked at. I did get some very 'necessary' gadgets but they are very portable for when my travels resume ( hopefully soon, peak season willing)
