Fun Friday

After a relaxed start to the day my friend and I visited a very local cafe for the most delightful lunch. The Birds Tea and Coffee cafe is part of a small nursery which we didn't get time to look through. The lunch menu is simple but so lovingly made and presented that photos were of course, essential.

I had boiled eggs and soldiers which amused me tremendously, followed by a slice of yummy chocolate cake. My friend had a chicken mayo bagel with a divine Chai tea, and some light meringue afterwards. The resident cat plonked himself on my lap and I was treated to some feline therapy. So pleased my cat allergy has really diminished.

It seems like all we do is eat, but it's not true. Okay, it's mostly true, but we did find another strange shopping center that had a low carb store with yummy ready-made meals. Time to cut some carbs.... (just not the cake(yet))

Still eating my way around Durban, but it does help having company. We fit our work around the food!
